We are delighted to offer VIP tours of Jackdaws Castle home of O’Neill Racing. We offer a wonderful opportunity for horse racing enthusiasts to go behind the scenes at one of the most famous training centres in Europe and experience a once in a lifetime opportunity. Our tours make perfect Birthday/Christmas presents with a personalised gift certificate for the recipient on the special day. Numbers on each tour are limited to ensure all guests receive the personal attention that will make their visit very special and a truly VIP experience.

Itinerary
Join us at The Lygon Arms in Broadway at 7:15 am for a unique breakfast experience, where your tour host Roger Hart will provide an overview of the day ahead. For those travelling from afar, The Lygon Arms offers accommodation for the night before your tour.
Depart from Broadway at 8:15 am for a short journey to Jackdaws Castle, where you will receive the morning worksheet before observing the morning’s 3rd lot warm-up in the indoor school. Following the horses as they head out to the gallops, you will have the opportunity to watch them in training on one of our various gallops, all while taking in the breathtaking scenery of this magical location.
Return to the yard to witness a horse swim in our equine pool and use the solarium, providing these magnificent thoroughbreds with a “5-Star Hotel” experience.

You will then be led on a tour of the yard, meeting our equine heroes and gaining insight into the daily operations of this extraordinary facility.
Special Day
A Truly VIP Experience
Depending on the day of your visit, you may have the chance to see our top jockeys schooling the horses or observe our resident farriers at work as they prepare the horses.
Your tour culminates with a visit to our Owners’ Suite where you may have the opportunity to meet Jonjo and AJ for a photo opportunity and a chat.
