Agricultural Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Agricultural and Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate for this full time role will assist with general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings and facilities to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment. This is a largely outdoor based role, so understanding this role will carry on whatever the weather.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Assist with general upkeep of the landscape (mowing, harrowing the gallops e.t.c)
• Strong understanding of basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on farm machinery
• Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas and tools
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Assist with inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance or farming experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clean driver’s license
• Good problem-solving skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Reliable and punctual

We are always looking for experienced full time stable staff to join our expanding team for the upcoming jump season. The ideal candidate must ride to a high standard and be capable of educating young horses. Duties include general stable jobs, riding out, and accompanying horses to the races.

Plenty of room for progression to the right individual. First Class Accommodation available on site.
