Riviera Walk made a winning start at the first time of asking in the Mares’ Open Bumper at Sedgefield this afternoon.
Always travelling nicely, she pressed the leaders four furlongs out and was pushed along by Jonjo Jr. to lead in the final two furlongs. After drifting over the track near the finish, there was an agonising wait for the steward’s decision to award her the race!
