Before we start, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very healthy and happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thank you for all of your incredible support throughout 2025, and here’s to a successful 2026!

As you may have read or seen, the last month and a half has been frustrating. We noticed that some of the horses just weren’t right at the back end of November and decided to have temporarily halt on making entries with the horses until they had time to recover from the bug and were back in great form.

Thanks to our incredible owners, we were given this time without any pressure whatsoever which was an absolute godsend. We are extremely grateful to all of our owners for their patience, allowing us to do best by the horses, and the team here at Jackdaws for doing so well in getting the horses back fighting fit and its great to see the horses running so well since returning to the track!

We’re Red And Blue got us going again on December 7th at Huntingdon with a 2 length victory for Patrick and Erika Doyle.

We were absolutely thrilled for Ben Hughes getting his first-ever winner as an owner when his horse Noonetellsmenothin stayed on to win at Catterick. The video of his celebration has amassed over half a million views on our social media platforms! You can see it in the winners section below.

This was followed up with Wilful winning a nice pot in lovely fashion at Ascot last weekend after making all the running under an excellent ride from Jonj Jr. We are thrilled for Jim, Fitri and Lauren Hay who are wonderful supporters of ours.

On Sunday, Oh Clare impressed us with a lovely performance at Lingfield, and just yesterday, Impatient got his nose in front at Huntingdon for his lovely owner Katharine Holland.

Racing over the festive period is very exciting, and hopefully we can continue this good form throughout and beyond!

Congratulations to Hayley Meeking for being awarded our Employee of the Month for December.

Hayley joined us at the start of the season and has been a huge asset to our team, assisting AJ, Jonjo and the Head Lads.

As you would have seen above, she is fantastic at organising events for the team and will be happy to take on anything that comes her way.
