Can anyone have a horse in training with Jonjo O’Neill?

Absolutely. Jonjo and AJ would be delighted to train for anyone, whether they be a registered owner or just considering having a horse in training for the first time.

How much do you charge?

The fees Jonjo and AJ charge are similar to training fees charged elsewhere. Considering the facilities available at Jackdaws Castle, we are sure they represent excellent value for money. Have a look at the schedule of training fees for more detail.

What facilities do you have?

Jackdaws Castle is widely regarded as one of the finest training complexes in Europe. Developed and renovated at lavish expense, it comprises a suite of training facilities which cover every requirement. These include an indoor equine pool, therapy room and equine solarium. A question with many possible answers. Horses are available in various types, e.g. unraced, chasers, hurdlers, Flat horses, etc. Additionally, prices vary considerably. Jonjo or a member of the team would be delighted to discuss the options available.

What are the risks?

It’s part and parcel of jump racing that from time to time injuries happen, and sometimes these can even result in fatality or a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Insurance policies against the former are available, though these are relatively expensive. However, the facilities at Jackdaws Castle and the approach that Jonjo and AJ take to training (they treat every horse individually) ensures that each one goes to the races in peak fitness and is trained to the best of his ability.
