Cheltenham October Sale: David Maxwell Dispersal

We are very excited for the return of racing to Cheltenham this weekend. There’s always an incredible buzz around the Cotswolds at this time of year with the new National Hunt season beginning to gather momentum.

Following David Maxwell’s recent announcement of his retirement from race riding, Tattersalls Cheltenham will host the complete dispersal of the leading amateur jockey and owner’s racing interests after racing on Friday, 24th October, at Cheltenham Racecourse, during its season curtain raiser, The Showcase Meeting.

The standalone dispersal will mark a fitting conclusion to the career of the two-time champion amateur jockey and will feature 17 lots, all to be offered in the Tattersalls Cheltenham Sale ring.

Jonjo and AJ will be heading to the viewing today and tomorrow, and have their eyes on a couple of the horses in the sale.
